Meet the RE Assist, Inc Team
Helping Tennessee real estate professionals with transaction and listing coordination since 2013
Mary Reed is co-owner and manager of RE Assist, Inc., helping Tennessee real estate professionals with transaction and listing coordination since 2013. She is also a licensed real estate broker in Tennessee and Florida. Her background in real estate sales and administration gives her a practical understanding of the support agents need.
Mary trains transaction coordinators and teaches contract and forms classes to Middle Tennessee agents. She enjoys helping clients understand their contracts, grow their businesses, and make more time for their clients.
Outside of work, Mary enjoys gardening, home improvement projects, and spending time with her husband, Ben, their family, and their pets.
Katina Thornton is co-owner of RE Assist, Inc. A Georgia native, she grew up around the real estate industry in Atlanta and moved to Tennessee in 2012. She became a licensed REALTOR® in Tennessee in 2018.
Katina earned her bachelor’s degree in Art Marketing from North Georgia College and State University. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her two children, caring for animals, and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs.
Born and raised in Tennessee, Karina brings a background in management and strong organizational skills to her role as office manager at RE Assist, Inc. She has lived in several states, including Alaska, and has called Tennessee home again since the 1990s.
Outside of work, Karina enjoys action and sci-fi movies, sewing, quilting, and Mexican food with friends. Above all, she treasures time with her three children and five grandchildren.
Janice Hayden is a transaction coordinator at RE Assist, Inc. Born in Canada, she moved to Tennessee in 2014 with her two children. She holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Kinesiology.
Outside of work, Janice enjoys traveling, the outdoors, and healthy living. She believes every day is a fresh opportunity to make a difference and bring a smile to someone’s face—even on a Monday.
Transaction Coordinator
Born and raised in Southern California, Lori moved to the Nashville area in 2021. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Human Development and holds a teaching credential in Elementary Education.
Outside of work, Lori enjoys boating with her husband and their three sons, traveling, and making memories with family and friends. She also loves crafting and taking walks with her dog, Maui.
